Do you provide food?
No, however if you would like your trip catered, we can help arrange this with our local restaurants in town. We have plenty of room for those who would like to bring an ice chest with food. We can also help arrange for bag lunches or catering through our favorite local restaurants and caterers, for an extra charge!
I have never been on the ocean, should I take sea-sick pills?
If you get car sick on windy roads or on amusement park rides, it might be recommended. You can check with your local pharmacy for the different over-the-counter brands that are available.
How long does it take to get to the fishing grounds?
It takes an average of 20-40 minutes and for extended trips and hour and a half.
How old do you have to be to fish?
There is no age limit! We have had kids from 3yrs and up helping to reel the fish in!
Do I need a fishing license or special tags?
If you are 16 years or older you are required to have a California fishing license Special Stamps are not required. If you do not have a license, we are Dept. of Fish and Game Agents and have one day licenses available on board the boat. It is recommended that if you plan to fish more than 2 times a year, to go to your local drug store to buy an annual license.
Do you accept credit cards?
YES! We accept all major credit cards!!!.
I've made a reservation and secured with a credit card, but need to cancel, will I be charged?
We require a 48 hour or more notice of cancellation or your credit card will be charged for the trip. If we need to cancel your trip, due to weather conditions, you will not be charged.
Do you guarantee seeing whales and/or catching fish?
We guarantee the boat-ride home, and that we will do the best possible job for you to enjoy your adventure on the SEA HAWK!
